These words appear on a plaque in the Executive offices of F. C. Tucker Company, Inc. under a likeness of the firm’s founder, the late Frederick C. Tucker, Sr. The words not only describe the founder’s attributes, but they also serve as continued reminders of our Company beliefs.
From its inception in 1918 to its status today as a nearly $2 billion conglomerate with 39 offices throughout the state of Indiana, the F. C. Tucker Company has built its reputation on experience, service and a "Golden Rule" commitment to the many clients, sales associates and employees it serves.
F. C. Tucker Residential Real Estate is ranked as the 25th largest independently owned real estate firm in the nation, according to the May 2002 "REAL Trends 500." Tucker was also ranked as the nation’s 12th largest regional brand, and was the only Indiana firm to be included in the top 133 independent companies ranked in the survey. When all franchises and independents were ranked by closed sales volume, F. C. Tucker was in the top 10 percent, achieving more than $1.5 billion in closed sales volume during 2001, placing the company on the Billionaire’s Club listing of only 99 firms. Again, Tucker was the only Indiana firm represented in the Billionaire’s Club. Tucker had even more success in 2002, achieving more than $1.66 billion in closed sales volume.

Commencing in 1966 the company began its expansion effort by opening an office on the Southside. These residential sales offices are supported and enhanced by a relocation department, a marketing department, a technology department, human resource department and accounting services.
The F. C. Tucker Company is owned by Fred C. Tucker, III and H. James Litten, who dedicate themselves to continuing to grow and diversify the services provided by the company. Fred Tucker, III oversees the administrative matters of the Company and directs a family of businesses developed to support and enhance the brokerage operation. Jim Litten directs operations of Tucker’s Residential Real Estate Services, which supports more than 525 sales associates and 180 employees in 15 sales offices in the greater Indianapolis area.
Tucker’s family of businesses includes its franchise operations, Tucker Associates, Inc., with real estate offices in most major cities throughout Indiana, including Anderson, Bloomington, Bluffton, Brown County, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Greencastle, Jasper, Kokomo, Lafayette, Marion, Martinsville, Muncie, South Bend, Newburgh, Pendleton, Rockville, Seymour, Shelbyville, South Bend, Terre Haute, Valparaiso and Vincennes. Tucker Associate companies employ over 550 sales associates and 100 support staff.
